Ocean Aire is a full service Fixed Base Operator based at Ocean County
Airport, Ocean County, New Jersey. Airport
identifier KMJX.
It is Ocean Aire's mission to provide quality aviation services to the
regional/local corporate and general aviation community, principally in
the North East.
MJX, is located 50 nm southwest of New York City, 45 nm east of
Philadelphia and 40 nm north of Atlantic City. This is a very attractive
location for business aviation. Our local major commercial airports in
the NY Metropolitan area are experiencing severe delays. MJX utilization
can minimize these delays. Manhattan is approximately 30 minutes away by
Helicopter or approximately an hour by car.
Every service to operate a corporate aircraft is here, and convenient to
major metropolitan areas, without experiencing the delays commonly seen
at Teterboro, Morristown and several other northeast airports. This is a
convenient location for Corporate Aviation to deliver clients to NYC
airports such as EWR JFK TEB and LGA and then lay-over and service at
MJX in a cost effective manner.
MJX has one runway 06-24 which is 5950' x 100' with ILS and pilot
operated high intensity lighting. This runway is certified to aircraft
up to 100,000 pounds per wheel load bearing and thus can serve all GA
